Virtual Events

An essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic!

Indigo Productions has been providing expert virtual events and live streaming video for more than 10 years, making us the perfect partner for essential communications during – and after – the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our clients include the U.S. Department of State, the United Nations FCU, Viacom, Ogilvy, Fordham University, the Palace Hotel, and dozens of other world-class organizations who demand the highest levels of technical know-how coupled with flawless execution.

Whether you’re putting on a virtual town hall meeting, corporate event, music performance, e-learning seminar, product launch, fundraising event, or a “mission-critical” confidential assignment, we’ll handle your project seamlessly and securely.

Indigo offers full concept-to-completion services. We can patch in your presenters from anywhere in the world, live-switch the feeds, and stream a fully branded and polished presentation on any platform, to any device, to any size audience. We also offer a la carte services with different levels of support.

And Indigo is platform-agnostic, so we can produce your event on whatever platform you’re contracted with or are comfortable with including Zoom, Microsoft Team, WebEx, Intrado, Digitell, or ON24 among many others.

Virtual events come in many flavors: Pre-recorded, fully live, or a hybrid. A hybrid option like Simulive offers the advantage of recorded content that’s presented as a live event with interactive engagement tools. Simulive also allows clients to reshape the content for different audiences.

Indigo is all about flexibility, so we provide several options for production services. We can send a small crew to your location following strict COVID-safe protocols, stage multi-camera studio shoots, or ship you small webcast DIY kits. Our webcast kits are designed for ease of use and include a webcam, a lapel mic, lights, and a supplemental internet device.

In world of self-distancing, virtual events are no longer a ‘nice-to-have,’ but a crucial part of the communications mix. Virtual productions are a cost-effective option compared to traditional big, in-person events. No airfare or hotel expenses. No time wasted on travel. And no limit on the number of participants. With safety, greater flexibility, interactivity, global accessibility and real-time feedback, the proliferation of virtual events is not only exploding but here to stay.

Some streaming companies aim for acceptable results. At Indigo, we deliver the exceptional.

Rehearsals, sound checks, back-up systems and contingency planning help ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. Presenters are confident knowing a safety net is always in place.

Step 1: Discovery

We review the scope of your event with you. What do you want to accomplish? Who is your audience? How extensive are your production requirements? Is it a single event, or a multi-day conference with simultaneous sessions? Will there be interactive or social media components? Do you have a platform preference?

Step 2: Proposal

We tailor a proposal to your virtual production needs, audience objectives, and platform requirements. And if you don’t have a platform preference we’ll recommend one. Indigo offers a suite of options based on budget and complexity. We can provide remote webcasting kits backed by training and technical support all the way through to studio and field crew shoots for pre-recorded content that follow strict COVID safety protocols.

Step 3: Pre-production

We take a deep dive into the details of your production to determine the most efficient and effective plan of action. Our level of planning is unmatched. We work out the logistics, coordinate schedules, organize assets, and think through the graphics.

Step 4: Production and editing of pre-recorded content

From recording simple executive messages to producing high-end videos, Indigo does it all.

Step 5: Rehearsal for live events

One of our many differentiators is the care we take to ensure all participants are comfortable and confident. Live streaming events are completely different from in-person events. We go over every detail: Mic checks, contingency plans, interactive components such as chats, polling, private or public Q&A, social media hot links, donation buttons, and the registration experience. The quality of our virtual productions is the result of employing best practices honed over years.

Step 6: Event Day

This is where all our preplanning and experience come into play, and why we don’t take shortcuts to get there. During the event we direct the action and the talent, call the shots, roll in video, and coordinate all the interactive elements. We have backups to prevent technical glitches and systems to communicate discreetly with hosts, keynotes and panelists for one result: A flawless viewer experience. This is where we excel.

Step 7: Post-Event

We keep on delivering value long after your event. We’ll host the event for viewing later, and edit event re-caps, sizzle reels, and other videos for social media. And our detailed analytics to help you evaluate viewer habits and, most importantly, measure success. Data includes: how many viewers, what were the most-watched segments, how long guests watched, virtual guest lists, polling results and more, all of which follow general data protection regulations.

Do you need highly experienced professionals who will deliver a smooth experience? Let us handle your next virtual event.
